The Reverend Phillip Thomas is a native of Blackville, South Carolina. He is the Son of the House of the Bethany Baptist Church in Blackville SC, under the leadership of Reverend Reginald Mixon. Reverend Thomas commenced his preaching ministry in May of 2006, when he was licensed to preach the gospel and exercise his gift in the ministry. He was later ordained into the gospel ministry in August of 2008.

Reverend Thomas graduated from the Blackville-Hilda High School in 1984. He also attended the Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, SC.

Reverend Thomas has over ten years of pastoral ministry experience that has been marked with much success. God has favored him by allowing tremendous and explosive growth to accompany his ministry. 

After serving as Pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Barnwell, SC for 10 years, he is now the Pastor of Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church in Aiken, SC. He has served in this capacity for the last two years, where the hand of God remains on his ministry allowing Zion Fair to flourish and prosper.

Celebrating 28 years of marriage, Phillip and Sondra Thomas are parents to three children and grandparents to two. With a practical, yet insightful and charismatic preaching style, Reverend Thomas has a passion for preaching the gospel and a desire to spread it far and near.
